Ramon Mayol, (Palma, 1965) is a cultural promoter and passionate about books.
Founder of the group of musicians from Ibiza and Formentera, Sargantana Rock (1995 – 2012), with which he promoted contests, festivals, music awards and many other activities aimed at promoting music in the Islands. Is a member of 'resonators’ as well as the Ciutat de Ibiza Choir and was a vocalist of the Catalan rock rock group (now inactive) with which he recorded an album, Figa de pic (Blau / Discmedi). also has, as a musician, another solo project; Mon, with a CD: Ones de poesia (Produccions Aïllades), accompanied by cellist Susan Rozsa. En l’actualitat, with the formation Mon&MarCel offers the POEMilla recital. Music and poetry of the islands, with a published disc book.
From his facet as an audiovisual producer, ha dirigit més d’una dotzena de curtmetratges. The last ones: ‘ReMi’ o ‘The Legend’, with many awards at various international festivals; 'Attached', A humorous critique of the housing housing problem; ¿¡Qué!? o ‘La llave’…
He has also directed almost 20 video documentaries, among which stand out: "The Ibizan horse"; 'Tower, salt and time'; ‘Saints and murderers’ (based on the figure of Merche Chapí), la sèria ‘Aigua Viva ‘ damunt el patrimoni hídric del municipi de Santa Eulària des Riu o ‘Ecos de Cala de Bou’. He was one of the creators of the first Ibizan web series, ‘Salvador, a low cost superhero’.
Creator of the culture and leisure web portal Ibiza-Click.com (2007) as well as the first television in Ibiza that broadcasts via the Internet, TvClick (2008) and the audio download platform (podcast), LeOigo.es He also directs the audiovisual production company Eivisual. Director de la Mostra Ixtar Curts, Festes de Sant Bartomeu (el festival cinematrogràfic més antic de les Illes Balears).
As a writer, is the author of the book of stories ‘VINTIDOTZE‘ (EDICIONS AÏLLADES, 2012), Book of which is prepared a 2nd edition enlarged and revised for the year 2025; from the novel·la '#IbizaEstrellada. A novel organic‘’ (Ibiza editions, 2019); of 'Animalia. A fable too real’ (EDICIONS AÏLLADES, 2020) I de ‘Inside offers and other stories‘ (EDICIONS AÏLLADES, 2023). Viennese publisher Wieser has translated into German and published two of his stories in the book ‘Balearic’; ‘El llenguatge de les ones‘ (EDICIONS AÏLLADES, 2025); ‘La llum violeta’ (EDICIONS AÏLLADES, 2026). Part de la seua obra ha estat traduïda i publicada en castellà, alemay i anglès.
Coordinator of the Ibiza reading clubs in Gran de Sant Mateu d'Aubarca, Sant Rafel de sa Creu and Cala de Bou.
With Produccions Aïllades, he is running different dramatized readings of relevant characters from the literary world of the islands.

EDICIONS AÏLLADES només edita en català i ha publicat més de seixanta llibres en format imprès repartits en diferents col·leccions: Poetry, Narrativa, essay… L’any 2022 The Ibizan Studies Nestitus awarded the mention to Cultural Production Sant Jordi.
