Produccions Aïllades reconstructs that stage in the life of the Cadiz poet in a new installment of the series The monologues of history. An actor plays the poet who, through a dramatized reading of some 35 minutos, takes us into a private story, of love and poetic contemplation in the Ibiza of the first cosmopolitan travelers of the 1930s, as well as in the ideological tensions of that decade that ended up exploding in some terrible days. The production is directed by Ramon Mayol. The adaptation of the text is by Carlos Garrido, based on the book by Antonio Colinas “Rafael Alberti in Ibiza. “Six weeks of the summer of 1936” (Tusquets).
the poet Julio Herranz, who was Alberti's personal secretary during his visit to the island in 1986 and personal friend of Antonio Colinas is in charge of reading.
