WORLD THEATER DAY 2021

World Theater Day is celebrated on 27 March of each year. It was created by the International Theater Institute (YOU) at 1961 with the aim of making known what theater represents for culture worldwide. A good occasion to remember the launch of the FARSA contest of micro theater texts that Edicions Aïllades has underway.

In a pandemic year, the percentage of Spaniards older than 14 years who frequently read books in his spare time, that is to say, at least once a week, has reached an all-time high: 57% (the average of the whole year, reached the 52,7%). en 2019, that figure was 50%. This is the data that the Ministry of Culture and Sports has highlighted in the presentation of the Barometer of Reading and Buying Habits of Books in Spain.
