RAMON LLULL PRIZE FOR LITERARY TRANSLATION

The ninth edition of the Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation has been announced in order to recognize the importance of the work of literary translators. The prize, convened by the Ramon Llull Foundation is endowed with 4.000 euros for the best literary translation from Catalan published in the year 2020. The call for the presentation of candidatures ends on 8 de julio de 2021.

Miquel Àngel Riera i Nadal is the writer of the month for June at the Eivissa Municipal Library on the occasion of the 25 anniversary of his death. As in other postwar Mallorcan poets, the Generation of 27 marked his beginnings as a writer.
