A year to discover the Archduke

A year to discover the fascinating figure of Archduke Luis Salvador. en 2015 a century of the death of Archduke holds in his castle Brandeis (Czech Republic). That is why the institutions have decided to devote the entire year to remember him and, especially, his great work as a popularizer of the islands and its landscape.

In this context, recently it opened an exhibition at the Casal Solleric in Palma. Includes more than 150 pieces illustrating the passage of Archiduque by Balearic, as pictures, books and objects characters. It is curated by the writer Carme Riera and will be open until 14 of June. Already, Archduke. The desire to go further -this is the title of the exhibition- a journey through the life of Archduke, through him and his family, nit facet, their relationship with nature and the sea, acquaintances, her lovers and undeniable legacy.
