El I Farsa Contest of Micro Theater Texts Organized by Edicions Aïllades is presented in the Valencia Book Square Next Thursday, 29 October, by prestigious Valencian playwright Manuel Molins and editor Ramon Mayol.
This is one of the activities of the Book Square of Valencia that offers isolated editions in this edition. The presentation of the 3rd volume of the collection Notebooks artist: Animalia. Edicions Aïllades has launched this contest with the aim of promoting the creation of scenic texts of short pieces between playwrights and playwrights, both novel and professionals, in the field of the Catalan Countries. In the bases of the call, the selection of the theatrical scripts of the short pieces that will be collected in a volume of the Collection farce of dramaturgy de EDICIONS AÏLLADES
The contest is born with a vocation of continuity, of biannual character, Open to the incorporation of sponsors and in this first edition The theme of the works will revolve around fruits and vegetables. With this proposal we adhere to the commemoration of the UN General Assembly resolution that designates the year 2021 as the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables.
The pieces must be represented in a small format by a maximum of three actors and will have a duration not exceeding the 15 minutos.
The texts of the playwrights and the selected dramaturges will be awarded the publication in the Colection farce of dramaturgy of the seal EDICIONS AÏLLADES. In addition the best work will have an economic endowment of 300 euros. The jury may select a maximum of thirteen works.
The deadline for presenting the brief theatrical text ends the day 28 of January of 2021. All people, older of 16 years, who wish to participate in this call must send their work through email to illes@illes.cat
The jury will be made up of performing arts professionals proposed by Edicions Aïllades. The jury's opinion, unappealable, The day will be made public 28 February 2021 through the Literary Platform www.illes.cat and a press release.
