RAMON LLULL PRIZE FOR LITERARY TRANSLATION

The ninth edition of the Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation PCON The purpose of recognizing the importance of the work of literary translators. The prize, convened by the Ramon Llull Foundation is endowed with 4.000 euros for the best literary translation from Catalan published in the year 2020. The call for the presentation of candidatures ends on 8 de julio de 2021.

Al Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation The literary works translated from Catalan may opt for any other language that have been published between the 1 January and 31 from December 2020, and that they are of exclusive authorship of a sun/to translator. Prize candidates may be submitted until the day 8 de julio de 2021.

The Premi will be delivered in Andorra, Together with two other awards of the Ramon Llull Foundation that are intended to recognize the work of people or institutions that have contributed to the external projection of Catalan culture.

These awards have an international character and are destined to recognize persons or institutions outside the linguistic domain that have worked for the international promotion of Catalan language and culture.
