The fourteenth edition of the “AMIC-Ficcions, the adventure of creating stories ”!

The fourteenth edition of the literary competition “AMIC-Ficcions, The adventure of creating histories ”opened its registration period last 4 October. Nevertheless, will remain open until 7 February through the web ficcions.cat. The contest is aimed at students aged fourteen to eighteen who are studying the second cycle of the E.S.O, Baccalaureate or a Middle Grade Training Cycle in any Catalan-speaking territory.

It is drawn from an initiative created by the Association of Media of Information and Communication (FRIEND) and aims to put writing and literature on the table in Catalan, as well as foster literary creation in Catalan and teamwork among adolescents. The contest follows an innovative and refreshing methodology: taking as a starting point the principle of five books -The memory of the tree of Tina Vallès, Elsdesperfectesof Irene Pujadas, Reid'Hungaria's daughter and other matches of the Middle Ages Anonymous author,Comlagged in the rain by Jordi Sierra I Fabra andAsphyxiation de CHicked Palaahukiuk -, Participants must, individually or in groups of up to three people, Write a three -chapter story that will be hanging on the contest website following the delivery deadlines.

A jury formed by experts from the literary and educational field will choose the winning and finalist works, valuing the quality of the writings and the originality of the stories. The finalists will make public the second half of April and the awards will be delivered throughout the month of May at different parts of the Catalan -speaking territories. The awards of this edition consist of a PlayStation, an iPad, an iPhone, A smartphone and wireless headphones.

The success of the last edition seems to be repeated this year, since there is more than 2000 registered participants; More of 240 of them, of the Balearic Islands.
