FOUR PRODUCTIONS BY THE TEATRE PRINCIPAL OF PALMA, CANDIDATES FOR THE MAX AWARDS 2023
The General Society of Authors of Spain has made public the works accepted for the Max awards 2023. This is how it has announced the candidacy of four co-productions from the Teatre Principal de Palma for these awards, that will be held on 17 April of next year at the Gran Teatro Falla in Cadiz.
The admitted works are the following: Flood zone by Marta Barceló, New of Ann Perelló, THE WORK FAMILY The little things Mechanics and opera The voices (The wise voice) from the company Diabolus in Musica.
Flood zone
Flood zone is directed by Marta Gil and arrives at Palma Pincipal Teatre next Wednesday. The work has already been released in the National Theater of Catalonia. The assembly goes on the catastrophe caused by the torrential rains that flooded Sant Llorenç in 2018. It is a joint production of the main theater of Palma and the National Theater of Catalonia. The voices
It is a double program, an opera night in which two pieces dialogue: The human voice (El Clásico de Poluenc) y The wise voice (A new work by Mariona Vila). Premiered last May.
New
This co -production of the main theater of Palma with the Mallorcan actress Ann Perelló premiered in November of 2021. According to the creator herself and actress, The work speaks of the imposition of the society of specific bodies and the judgments that make us restrict and live in abuse. The work has been represented in numerous functions in the islands and in Catalonia. Ann Perelló won the Best ATAPIB Award for his interpretation.
The little things
It is a family show released in January last year that has turned through many Spanish cities. It has been represented in other areas of Europe, as at the Edinburgh Festival.
It is a show built from the experiences of its creators and that of a group of fathers and mothers. The goal is to share experiences and accompany other people on that path that changed their lives.
