ISOLATED EDITIONS WILL BE PART OF THE EVISEN CULTURE COURSE

The Institute of Ibizan Studies (IEE) has invited Edicions Aïllades to take part in the XLVIII Course of Ibizan Culture. So, the day 1 December at 20 horas, the editor Ramon Mayol will participate in the round table that will take place in Sa Nostra Sala.

This event will be moderated by the journalist Nicolás Ribas Leopold and the editors Miquel Costa will also attend, by Editions Miquel Costa; Snow Scandal, of Balàfia Postals and Marià Mayans, the director of the IEE. Mayans affirms about this encounter: «I suppose we will all say that it is a field for people who like it and to collaborate with culture more than for an economic issue. If it is done, "It's for people in love with culture.".

Under the slogan 'The publishing world and the Pitiüses Islands', This year the cycle of activities will focus on local publishing activity to commemorate the 50 anniversary of the semiannual publication in Catalan 'Eivissa'. Mayans highlights its value when it comes to publicizing the island's heritage: «Local cultures have to continue and will do so more or less modified, but they will continue. The magazine 'Eivissa’ Does 50 years dedicated to carrying out studies and publishing texts about Ibiza for those who want to know what these islands are like».

The IEE will organize an exhibition on the history of the bulletin that will be inaugurated in Sa Nostra Sala on the day 18 November at 20 horas. According to the president of the organization, «recognizes all the work of the magazine and its background, which is more than 1.000 Articles.
