ISOLATED EDITIONS RECEIVED SANT JORDI CULTURAL PRODUCTION 2022

From Edicions Aïllades we are delighted to announce that we have obtained the Sant Jordi Cultural Production Mention 2022, awarded by the Institut d’Estudis Eivissencs. This recognition comes at a key moment for our editorial, since this year we celebrate the tenth anniversary of our adventure dedicated to the written word.

The Executive Committee of the IEE has decided that we are worthy of the award thanks to our work in the promotion and dissemination of Ibizan culture. This gives us a place in the same list of winners as other great representatives of the Pitiusas such as the musical group Ressonadors or the news of the TEF television channel..

The Sant Jordi Mentions were established in 1989 as a way to reward all those people and organizations that have promoted the culture of Ibiza and Formentera. At the time of its birth, only the Menció d’Honor Sant Jordi category existed, that some collaborators of our publishing house have received, such as Bernat Joan, Marià Torres or Toni Roca.

The Auditori Caló de s'Oli will host the awards ceremony

Can Ventosa Library 2010 when the Institut d’Estudis Eivissencs decided to increase the number of awards to three. Following this idea, the Menció Jove Sant Jordi was established to reward work aimed at young people and the Menció Producció Cultural with the aim of honoring a creation that promotes local culture.

The geographer Josep Antoni Prats i Serra will receive the Honorable Mention for his tireless work of research and dissemination of the characteristics of the Ibizan territory. The Mention Jove will go to the project La ràdio a l'escola, coordinated by Vicky Alemany i Franch, that brings broadcasting closer to students of schools and institutes of Ibiza. We congratulate the other winners and we look forward to seeing you at the Auditori Caló de s'Oli gala on the day 1 May at 19:30.
