After COU I didn't know what to study and my father asked me “Why don't you try naval school??”Luckily, I was accepted into the Navy Military School and I liked that.

P: And you no longer wanted to leave military life.

R: I stayed forever. I spent two years at the General Air Academy to become a navy pilot. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become an aviator.. It's something beautiful: beautiful. When my life as a pilot ended, I studied to be a General Staff Officer in England. There I became familiar with strategy and geopolitics.

P: You collaborate at the Center for Higher Studies of the National Defense in Madrid. What is that job like??

R: I was a professor of military planning for many years. Some time later I had the opportunity to give the refresher course for colonels and ship captains who are going to fill vacancies in higher positions.. I am a bit of a mentor to the students and help organize the course and classes.. de hecho, I coordinate the conferences.
