This year, The focus of the cycle will be on the living legacy of the essential narrators in literature. The question of intergenerational renewal will also be important when younger writers look to and are inspired by these fundamental narrators to carve their own literary path.. The first conversation will take place on 2 March at 19:00 at the Rata Corner bookstore in Palma. The speakers will be Antònia Vicens and Sebastià Portell.

En los años 70, there was a boom in narrative in Catalan, quite uniquely in Mallorca. This generation of authors led a renewal of the existing narrative. New novel models emerged: genre exploration, reflection of the changing society, social and historical transformation...The incorporation of women writers should be highlighted, that helped this transformation of a literature that until then was predominantly male. Some have passed 50 years since that boom, and it is necessary to reread some of those works, reviewing them with their authors.

As a complement to the monographic programs of the cycle in which these works will be delved deeper, This edition focuses on the conversation between these younger narrators and authors., important in current Catalan literature. Conversations will be proposed between both of them to share the trajectories and impressions of their works and literary concepts..
