GABRIEL ALOMAR
During the month of August, GABRIEL ALOMAR (Palma, 1873 - Cairo, 1941) is the writer of the month in the Municipal Library of Can Ventosa, in Ibiza.
He studied high school in Àvila and at the Instituto Balear. El 1888 moved to Barcelona to study law, that he abandoned for those of Philosophy and Letters. En el año 1932 He was appointed ambassador to Rome. During the Spanish Civil War was a plenipotentiary minister in Egypt, position he held until 1939. As of this year and already as an exile he dedicated himself to teaching and collaborating in the newspaper The Journal of Egypt.
