NEW SONG OF MON: I find you
Mon Present songs again, this time accompanied by MARCELA FRIEDERICHS, and he does it with a poem by the Formentera author Maria Teresa Ferrer: I find you, who has put music and now presents the promotional video.
Mon is Ramon Mayol's ‘artistic name’. A couple of years ago he presented a promotional CD, ‘A tast d’Nes’ with music poems from the ‘poetry’ collection of the Edicion Aïllades seal, of which he is editor. On this occasion he has had the arrangements of Marcela Friederichs, that also touches the cello and the bass.
‘Vull Trobar-Te’ has been recorded in the process of unwinding the alarm state motivated by COVID-19. The poem is included in the book ‘L’Encia de la Letargy’, by Maria Teresa Ferrer (The end of Africa, 2019):
I want to find you further
Where to be confused
the whisper with the dawn.
Discover you at once
I forever
As if every word was the last silence.
Furrow the paths
of your thought
and make this night the day.
I want to find you further
Where to be confused
the whisper with the dawn.
And succumb to the rain
of nostalgia
from this island, round of solitary.
Fins a fondre’t
You ILLA
In a tot inseparable.
