MICE AND MEN THE CLUB

The Santa Eulària des Riu Reading Club has had to adapt to these times of pandemic. Now, sessions are by video conference. Next appointment is Tuesday, 7 July where the figure of John Steinbeck and his book Of Mice and Men will be discussed.

Hired on a farm run by a former boxer, The unsatisfied wife of the patron puts Lennie in serious trouble, that accidentally kills her and flees to the forest. A moving singing to friendship and above all an intense novel with exemplary and perfectly constructed dialogues, of which no reader can forget their outcome.
