SALT SORES ARE BACK

Last 22 June the Club Náutico de Ibiza hosted the commemorative act of the fourth edition of our best-selling work, SALT SORES. Although this publication went on sale on the occasion of Book Day, we have delayed its presentation to coincide with the first day of summer to highlight the change in artistic stage of the author, Javier Serapion. In view of all this, the Newspaper of Ibiza and Formentera and the TEF covered the event.

Great personalities from the world of local politics and culture did not miss the opportunity to make an appearance. Thus, The writer Milagros Leg attended; The Councilor for Citizenship, Pattern, fiestas, Youth and cemeteries of the City of Ibiza, Ricard Clivillé; The Archivera of the same institution, Fanny Tur; and the writer and president of the Yacht Club, Vicent Canals.

The gala began with a prologue by the editor Ramon Mayol to summarize the figure of the writer and the reasons that led him to write SALT SORES. After, Serapio described his work as a compilation of mystery and compromised fantasy stories. Likewise, He affirmed that, Due to its symbology and criticism they contain, The stories must be read with attention and in the proposed order.

Then, The two broadcasters commented on some outstanding issues of the book, Among which the question was found about his current affairs eight years after his first impression. In this regard, The writer commented that Talamanca Beach is cleaner, But that observations about the Ibizan tourist model are still valid. Finally, Serapio announced that its new publication will see the light at the beginning of next year and thanked the work carried out by the Ibiza Yacht Club at the cultural level and as a meeting point.
