CONVERSATIONS ON EDUCATION CAN SHORT
This Thursday, 7 September at 20:30 hours takes place in Can Curt, Sant Agustí des Vedrà, the book launch: The unfinished. Conversations about Education, politics and culture by the Professor of Cultural Pedagogy Gemma Carbó Ribugent. Gemma Carbò Ribugent (1967) is pProfessor of Cultural Pedagogy in the area of Didactics and school organization. Director of the UNESCO Chair of Cultural Policies and Cooperation. Co-director of the Research and Innovation Laboratory in Culture and Development. (UTB – UdG). Member of the research group: Management and Administration of social and cultural policies (GRHCS 79). Doctor in educational sciences from the University of Girona. DEA in Law and Culture: Interuniversity Institute for Cultural Communication UNED-Carlos III University (2007).
His doctoral thesis focuses on the relationships between cultural and educational policies in Catalonia between 1980 y 2010. A line of research that responds to a professional career focused on the educational functions of heritage and culture and the need to analyze the causes and propose guidelines with the aim of better administrative coordination, legal and political between education and culture.
He has been responsible for communication and educational service for the Museum of Archeology of Catalonia (Empuriabrava) within the framework of the revitalization project curated by Jordi Pardo (1991-1996) and head of communication and educational service at the Cinema Museum in Girona (1996-2006). Desde 2007, She is an associate professor of Cultural Pedagogy and Cultural Management at the University of Girona.. He directs the UNESCO Chair of Cultural Policies and Cooperation at the same University., She is president of the ConArte International Association and vice president of the Interarts Foundation. He is a member of the board of directors of the ENO Network of European observatories of artistic and cultural education linked to UNESCO..
