WRITING WOMEN'S DAY

El WRITING WOMEN'S DAY is celebrated on Monday 12 October. The events start on Sunday 11 with a storyteller by the writer Emma Segura Oms, taking advantage of the celebration of Girl's Day. specific, the writer will read ‘La veu de les nenes’ and the activity can be seen on the Facebook of the Eivissa City Council.

The Iivissa City Council wants to value the work of women writers and that is why they have organized three events with renowned writers. The poster was made by the artist Mayo Llancares, Peruvian illustrator based in Ibiza who tries to value women in literature.

Activities continue on Wednesday 14 October with a round table on 'Women poets and new poetry’ where Andrea Valnueva will participate, author “Lagrimacer or the act of shedding” and Idoia Montero, author “in the middle of the dance”. The talk will be moderated by the well-known poet Nora Albert, and can be continued from 19 hours in the plataforma districte07800.
