GALDÓS, writer month

Benito Pérez Galdós is the writer of the month for November at the Can Ventosa Municipal Library, in Ibiza. Novelist, playwright, Spanish chronicler and politician.He is considered one of the best representatives of the 19th century realist novel.

GALDÓS (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 10 de mayo de 1843 – Madrid, 4 of January of 1920) He is one of the most prolific authors of his generation, both in novel and theater. At the beginning of the 20th century he joined the Republican Party and the legislatures of 1907 y 1910 He is a deputy to the Cortes for Madrid for the Socialist Republican Conjunction; en 1914 He is elected deputy for Las Palmas.
