II THE TIME OF THE ARTS AWARDS
This year the second edition of the 'Premis El Temps de les Arts' is celebrated. The objective of these awards is to recognize the artistic and cultural talent of creators from different disciplines in Catalan-speaking territories.. It is an initiative of the non-profit organization Fundació Francesc Eiximenis.
"The Time of the Arts Awards": categories and awards
like last year, In this edition the categories will be Heritage, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, architecture, Classical Music and Popular Music. Además, the second edition adds the Experimental Cinema awards, recognizing the value of this minority discipline.
As for the awards, The winners will receive the work of the artist Perejaume 'Gra de sorra', as well as a cash amount of 3000 euros. On the other hand, The merit of other projects will be recognized in the two second prizes that there will be for each category.
Delivery of the II El Temps de les Arts Awards
The jury in charge of deciding the winners is made up of relevant personalities in each category. Además, It has been encouraged that it be a transversal jury, with a variety of genres and with representation of the different territories.
The Sea of Sea of Barcelona, chosen place for the awards ceremony
The place chosen for the delivery ceremony is the Llotja del Mar in Barcelona. This space has a high symbolic content due to its historical value and the exchange of ideas associated with it.. The event will showcase a repertoire of Catalan popular music and feature a variety of culturally and artistically relevant artists..
Following the custom started in the first edition, El 29 November at 10 p.m.. The announcement of the winners will be broadcast on several Catalan-speaking television stations., including IB3 in the Balearic Islands. The program will combine the award ceremony with fragments that show the cultural and monumental heritage, with songs by artists from all territories and different generations.
