The play arrives at the Sala La Fornal Cordelia by Joan Gomila, February with a performance by the Catalan rock and ska band Brams.

In the context of a city with aspirations of greatness in which theater is the cultural engine, Cordelia tells the story of three people belonging to different generations with strong ties between them and positioned at a vital level in an emotional and economic way from three different positions., three different social statuses, who are united with the same objective: staging a play about Cordelia. But the staging of the play and the union between the three characters is broken after the formation of a new extreme-right government that has put all its effort into settling accounts with all those people who had stood out in the past in areas such as cultural revitalization., public and social commitment, militancy in certain ideologies or sexual orientation. This new situation spoils the relationships that the three protagonists had established as the effort to survive in the new political situation predominates..

The play Cordèlia is directed by Frederic Roda, and it is played by Núria Fiol, in the role of the actress, Ignasi Guasch, in the character of the theater director, and Joan Gomila himself, who plays the company director.

The work can be enjoyed on Saturday 29 January at the La Fornal Hall in Manacor. Advance tickets are now on sale.
