'MOTIONS ON THE TABLE', POETRY RECITAL AT MARIA DE LA SALUT

The next Friday 23 September the poetry recital 'Mots a taula' will be held at the Casal de Cultura de Maria de la Salut. It is a recital that will be accompanied by drinks and food.

Despite being a small town, Maria de la Salut has made an effort in recent years to revive and promote poetry, literary genre increasingly neglected. thus, Activities such as 'Mots a taula' have been created, where the opportunity to spend a poetic evening accompanied by wine and locally produced products is offered, thus attracting more public.

‘Mota A Taula’ has a woman's voice this year. Poets Aina Ferrer and Aina Cardona, that form a group, Maria del Mar Frontera come together, Maria Teresa Canyelles, Maria Crespí and Maria Esperança Cantallops. Together, They will offer a poetic recital with a thread that leads to earthly pleasure: The food and drink. For it, They have selected a set of poems by authors of Catalan literature that refer in some way to this issue. Además, These poems will be presented as a tasting menu, With incoming, main course, dessert and wine.

The chosen poems speak, Can Ventosa Library, of the pleasure of drinking and food. Will recite texts by Maria Antònia Salvà, First Poet Woman in Catalan, Miquel Martí i Pol and Damià Huguet, entre otros. There will also be space for authors of a certain maturity, Como Enric Casasses, or young, como laai martínez.
