Carla Santángelo Lázaro was born in Mahón, Balearic islands. Desde 2014 lives between Latin America and Spain. He has a master's degree in Advanced Journalism and Reporting from the Ramón Llul University (Barcelona) and Master in Creative Writing from the National University of Tres de Febrero (Buenos Aires).

JUANJELE WINS THE CONTEST FOR THE BEST SONG

The young singer-songwriter Juanjele has won the Sant Joan Song Contest 2021 with the song “Magic Night of June”. The contest is convened by the Institut d’Estudis Eivissencs (IEE) and the jury has valued the good quality and musical rhythm of the composition. The songs "Hugs", of the band Somosuno, and “A day at the beach”, of the street, have received the second prize of the contest.

LITERARY PRESENTATION: Winter Residences

El sábado, 26 of June, is presented in Ibiza ‘Residenze Ivernali / Winter Residences ’ (EDICIONS AÏLLADES, 2020) by Antonella Anedda , translated by Nora Albert. The event will take place at 12.00 hours in the Refectori room of the Ibiza Town Hall.

RAMON LLULL PRIZE FOR LITERARY TRANSLATION

The ninth edition of the Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation has been announced in order to recognize the importance of the work of literary translators. The prize, convened by the Ramon Llull Foundation is endowed with 4.000 euros for the best literary translation from Catalan published in the year 2020. The call for the presentation of candidatures ends on 8 de julio de 2021.
