A CLEAR POETICS, BRIGHT

Imtage: Laia Marí Serra

The way of yours is a book that turns returning home into a poetic act, intimate and deeply rooted in the landscape of Formentera. Through clear writing, refined and sensory, Neus Costa traces an emotional itinerary where memory, Identity and belonging intertwine with light, the land and sea of the island.

The second edition of the volume is presented, that proposes a journey in and out: towards the physical house and towards the interior house.

Central issues

Home as emotional territory, beyond geography.

Memory as a common thread between past and present.

The island as a symbolic space, refuge and mirror.

The body and the word as places where experience is sedimented.

The path as a metaphor for transformation and return.

Neus Costa's voice is characterized by clear poetics, bright and with Mediterranean roots, where each image is sustained by precision and sensitivity. His writing dialogues with the island tradition, but from a contemporary perspective that vindicates intimacy, listening and observing details. this volume, Además, marks a milestone in the collection: It is the first volume of the collection written by an author from Formentera, thus expanding the literary map of the series.

The illustrations of Laia Marí Serra They are integrated into the book as small drawings with clean lines and content., almost always minimalist, that accompany the poem without imposing themselves. They usually work with fine lines, organic shapes and very open compositions, where the white of the page has as much weight as the drawing itself. These images evoke elements of the landscape, of the body, of memory...

Each drawing functions as a visual extension of the poem it accompanies.: provides a nuance, a gesture or atmosphere that amplifies the emotional tone of the text. The sobriety of the line and the economy of forms create a feeling of calm and clarity, as if the images sought to point out what is essential without distracting from the intimate rhythm of the book.

The prologue writers: two looks that open the way

Raquel Guasch Ferrer presents Neus Costa's poetry as a return to the inner house, a place where each verse is a warm stone on the path and each image, a root that still beats underground. Guasch turns the tone of the prologue into a breeze that gently pushes: invites you to enter without haste, to listen to the silence, to recognize in the poetic word a gesture of belonging.

Your interpretation suggests that the book is not read: it runs, like an intimate landscape that makes its way through light, go out and remember.

Clara Scandell Ferrer Meanwhile, presents us with a prologue that can be understood as a soft and luminous invitation: His voice opens the book like someone who draws back a curtain to let in the morning air.. Escandell presents the work with a look that mixes affection and lucidity, highlighting the intimacy of the journey that the author proposes and the emotional depth that beats under each image.

Its prologue functions as a warm threshold: prepares the reader for a territory where the word becomes a refuge, memory and revelation, and where each page seems to advance with the delicacy of a gesture that is remembered and recognized.

Both prologues function as complementary entry doors that enrich the reading experience..
