LITERARY PRESENTATION IN BARCELONA

The Barcelona Naval Command hosts the presentation of the new edition of the book “BATTLESHIP Bombardment DEUTSCHLAND. Ibiza 29 de mayo de 1937”, by José M. Prats Marí and edited by Ibiza Editions.

The event will take place on Thursday 20 October, a las 19:00 hours with a conference by the author himself about this historical event that occurred in Ibiza on May 1937, when a pair of Tupolev SB-2 Katiuska planes mistakenly bombed the German battleship Deustchland that was anchored in the waters of that bay. As a result, Ibizan nine people were killed and 31 members of the crew of the German cruiser Germany.

A book that has been very well received and of which various editions have been made and which has a prologue by Felip Cirer.
