The Balearic Institute of improving aid to the written culture of the Balearic Islands

The Institute of Balearic Studies improves aid to written culture.The Institute is a public business entity created by the article 40 Law 13/2014, de 29 December, general budget of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands for year 2015.

The Strategic Plan for Grants of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands for years 2018-2020, provides for financial aid to support activities for the outreach projects of all types of editing and promotion of literature, thought, the comic and the illustration for the year 2019.

 

 

For all this, it has approved the call for grants to contribute to the external projection of literature, thought, the comic book and the illustration of the Balearic Islands. During the period between the days 1 of December of 2018 i 30 November 11 2019.

Three subsidy lines are established, the first of which is exclusive of the other two.

A) Support for the mobility of authors:

*responsible for publishers and distributors, researchers and cultural agents linked to the field of literature, thought, the comic and the illustration to attend fairs, festivals, presentations and professional conferences from outside the island of residence. Mobility between Islands and with other Catalan-speaking territories is excluded from this call.

b) Support for publishing publishing projects:

*linked to the external projection of the book, regardless of their support, be physical and/or digital, and its format.

c) Support for external promotion activities for literature, the comic, the thought and illustration of the Balearic Islands.
