THE SECOND EDITION OF 'PALMA FANTASTICA' HAS ARRIVED

Last year, The Can Sales Public Library organized for the first time the fantastic literature festival 'Palma Fantàstica', three days of various activities, with the aim of promoting fantastic literature. It is a genre that, although it has a very faithful and dedicated public, is often reviled within the adult literary scene. For that reason, Initiatives such as 'Palma Fantàstica' are a magnificent opportunity to give importance and bring this type of literature closer to the public..
This year, The festival will be celebrated from 6 Al 8 October, and will have legendary creatures as a central theme.
Activities and programming of 'Palma Fantàstica'
Among the festival's activities you can find writing workshops, conferences, online role-playing games and encounters, entre otras. Además, all activities are free, and it is not necessary to register in advance.
This Thursday 6 October the festival will kick off with the opening ceremony and a conference on the legends of Mallorca at 12:15 h. The same day, there will be the book presentation The magical world of Lot: The two captains, as well as two conferences on Pulp literature and on Tolkien's universe.

Participants and organizers of 'Palma Fantàstica'
As in the previous edition, 'Palma Fantàstica' is organized by the Can Sales Public Library. Además, it has the collaboration of the Associació Rondalles Balearic Islands of role-playing games, Campus Bookstore, Tentacle Pulp Digital Magazine, Letter Box, Grup Steampunk Mallorca, the insula literary bookstore, the AMEH and the Spanish Tolkien Society.
The artist Juan José Ramos Canales has participated with the main illustration of the poster of this second edition of 'Palma Fantàstica', based on the work of the writer Aranzazu Serrano, festival guest.
