V SHORT NARRATIVE COMPETITION IBIZA EDITIONS
We have launched a new edition of the Short Story Contest. The award for best story is 1000 euros, publication, diploma and, novelty, the publication of Poscast in LeOigo.es
V Short Story Competition Short Story Foundation Julián Vilas Ferrer – Ibiza Editions 2019 The Julián Vilás Ferrer Foundation and the Ibicenca Publishing House Ibiza Editions (EDICIONS AÏLLADES) They call the V Contest of Brief Narrative/Narrative Breu, for residents of Ibiza and Formentera, on issues related to the islands.
Prize awards:
1er Prize in Castilian: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 1.000gross €, publication in LeOigo.es and diploma.
2º Prize in Castilian: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 500gross €, publication in LeOigo.es and diploma.
1er Prize in Catalan: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 1.000gross €, publication in LeOigo.es and diploma.
2º Prize in Catalan: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 500gross €, publication in LeOigo.es and diploma.
RULES All stories with themes related to the islands of Ibiza and Formentera will be eligible for the awards., written in the Spanish language or the Catalan language that are processed through the Foundation's email info@fundacionjulianvilasferrer.org with a copy to info@illes.cat, accompanied by the attached annex.
written works are also supported in the Ibizan dialect, that take as reference the work of the writer and poet Mariano Villangómez. The extent of the manuscripts should be between 4 y 8 Din A4 pages and Arial, Times New Roman o Calibrí 12 points, with simple text line spacing or 1,5 spaces at most.
The deadline for submission of works begins 1 February and ends 5 de mayo de 2019. Once the original received will be given acknowledgment email. the anonymity of the authors is guaranteed to jury deliberation. Only one work is supported by author.
When making the selection, The jury will assess that the topic remains related to History, with culture, customs and daily life in the Pitiusas Islands, originality and literary quality.
The jury is empowered to resolve any issues not covered by these rules. The results of the award will be announced at a public event that will take place in Ibiza in April or May 2019.
The authors of the prize-winning works must attend or delegate someone to collect the prize. Ibiza editions (EDICIONS AÏLLADES) will publish the award-winning works in digital format on the literary platform www.illes.cat. The original winners will become the property of Ibiza Editions (EDICIONS AÏLLADES), which reserves the right to publish also in print edition.
Non-winning works will be destroyed. They will not be returned, particularly, none of the works presented. Taking part in this award implies acceptance of their bases.

– Entry form (2019-Bases-Narrative). – Story submitted to the contest. – Certificate of residence in any of the municipalities of Ibiza and Formentera.
